In his epic, 20 year musical career Mikkas, better known as Djuma Soundsystem, has taken his musical message to every corner of the world from his humble beginnings in Norway. Djuma Soundsystem has not only released unforgettable, global dance floor bangers like the modern day classic “Les Djinns”, he has released a plethora of original work collaborations, and remixes on labels such as plays on Spotify. In the recent decade his name has been synonymous with Afro House, as he was one, of the driving forces behind bringing, these sounds from Africa to Europe, and to the world, through his Iziki label, radio show (on Ibiza Live radio) and Iziki parties from NYC, Tulum, Goa, Chicago, Copenhagen, Koh Pangan, Johannesburg, Istanbul and Berlin.
The eclectic Djuma Soundsystem has worked with some of the biggest producers in the electronic music world like Rodriguez Jr., Trentemoller, Monkey Safari, UMEK, Tube & Berger, Coy, Kolombo, Animal Trainer, Jonas Saalbach, Lunar Plane, Robert Babicz, Dodi Palese and even EDM pioneer Kaskade. Djuma Soundsystem’s remarkable, two decade musical career has taken him to iconic venues, events and festivals that cover an unbelievable six continents like Space (Ibiza), The End (London), Watergate (Berlin), (Brazil) just to name a few.
For decades Djuma Soundsystem has maintained a grueling production and live performance schedule. So, taking his breakthrough Afro House brand globally which promises to be nothing short of epic. We are currently taking bookings for this legendary experience.

In 1995, donnerstag started creating electronic music on a now defunct computer program called “mixmaster” that introduced him to beats, loops, effects, and from there a creative love affair began. After a 15 year run in music management, (Amber, WKTU NYC, Dee Roberts, DJ Vito G) donnerstag decided to get behind the decks himself and he studied and practiced the art of djing for literally thousands of hours.
In 2015, donnerstag moved to the musically rich city of Philadelphia and within two years he has played every major venue and party in the city, hold numerous residencies, appeared at multiple festivals, entertained three continents, toured Europe 3 times, and he has just finished the 2017 summer season in Ibiza, Spain with a 3 week, 20 gig romp, leaving an impression on the island that will last for years to come.In the next year donnerstag will continue to tour the United States, Europe, South America and has plans to infiltrate Africa and will return to his second home for residencies on the island of Ibiza in the summer of 2018.
